I laughed out loud about this one.
I think I shocked some of my ADs and the Dean when in a meeting yesterday the words, “OPACs suck” came out of my mouth.

I needs me one of those! Oh wait… your OPAC is my OPAC.
I don’t have a problem with the My OPAC Sucks button and, who knows, if enough appear it might be the trigger to get vendors to take complaints seriously. I think it would be interesting and beneficial if bloggers & commentors would describe why their OPAC sucks. In other blogs I read that “vendor X is evil” and “I’m surprised that Y happened considering the ILS” but no details. You don’t have to name names, but what don’t you like about it.
Maybe we need a blog where people could post anonyously why their vendor’s product sucks so their directors don’t get nasty calls from vendors.
