Chad, A great addition. Taking risks means that we have to accept failure when it comes with grace and success with an eye for repeating the process.

Jane,
Congrats on being a part of the Immersion experience. I was also very fortunate to take part in 2004. It truly is an eye-opening experience.

This is a very good list for librarian educators to keep in mind. One thing that I also try to remember, in addition to your list, is to take risks in the classroom. I find that I learn more about my teaching technique through creative experimentation. In other words, I try to do at least one thing differently and step out of my comfort zone. Sometimes it works, sometimes not so much. But in the end, I always learn something new.

Great little list. Make sure you keep it handy, which you did by blogging it, then revisit it, in say a year? That last one is hard for me. I love my job, and I believe teaching is my best destiny, but there are days. . .you get the idea, so I will work on that. Thanks for the reminder.
