Give It Some SpiceI was thirsty and tired so I grabbed Coke out of the drink fridge at my parents’ house this evening. While driving home, I could not help but think that Coke tastes much better with a little (or you know, a lot) of spiced rum. Alas, I was driving. –Jane, yum, rum

So, perhaps after we have a Scotch or two in Seattle, we need to have a separate meeting to do the rum thing. One of my favorite ALA memories was going to the REFORMA event in New York in 19mumble. It was in a brownstone, and sponsored by The Rums of Puerto Rico. Did you know that there are 32 brands of Puerto Rican rum? I did my best to taste them all. I took the last train home (at 2:07 am), but that is another story.
I’ll drink to Seattle!
I did not know that there were so many rums from P.R. I am partial to spiced rum, Silver Spiced is my favorite. Sigh. I wish it was 5 o’clock.
