I am not certain they have enough substance for hate to cling to, though. Hatred towards them probably dissipates like their vapid music. The things in this world that have wronged me more than Macs are bears and stingrays. The only real purpose for Macs is editing gigantic movies. I just hate Apple's holier-than-thou attitude. They tell you what it is you should be doing with computers rather than the other way around. Now, if what they tell you to do and what you actually enjoy doing coincide than the Mac's are great computer's for you. But Apple is so controlling about what is said about and done on their products. They control perception like the Chinese government controls the internet. And they control their computers like the Nazi's contolled the Jews. (Do you like my inflammatory comparisons?) Personally, I would be using Linux exclusively if all PC games ran on the OS. Apple lost my business after the Apple IIe when they refused to "conform" and anything that was fun came for an IBM. If you didn't want to play their games then they didn't need you.
