I have been at this fantabulous job for almost a year and a half. I became interested in the profession when I realized every great learning moment in my life went back to the library in some way or another. I love learning and sharing that with others and this job fits the bill...period. I talked with others in the profession, checked out schools online, read a few (dry) journals, and hung out at our local branch to get a feel for it. The best ad for this profession? The scads or people who had loads of thanks for the librarians in our small town.
