		<description>If nothing else it sounds like they need to improve communication with their speakers. A better tack in this situation would have been to send you an email saying &quot;Hey, we notice you haven&#039;t registered for the conference. You don&#039;t have to, but if you were planning on attending other sessions we ask that you do by x date.&quot;</description>

		<description>I reread the email and the words &quot;past due&quot; were not used, but since they were asking me to either overnight a check or fax them a credit card number, I assumed that was the case. The email implied haste.

I think there was some misunderstandings on my part, but I do believe that this is a system that is broken.</description>
