This picture was taken in Scotland, at Castle Urquhart on Loch Ness almost one year ago. For 363 days, I have been married to my best friend. He is the most giving and forgiving person I know. Good thing, because I require a lot of forgiveness.

We are escaping for the weekend to celebrate our good fortune and blessings.

Congrats! I started my job at Norwich right on our first anniversary, so we didn’t do anything to celebrate it. I’m glad to hear that you are really marking the occasion. We’re so lucky to have our husbands. I’m surprised mine hasn’t gotten rid of me yet! :)

Wow, am I really that bald? Of course she picks the picture that makes her look cute. I suppose I should be lucky that she made sure it was actually me in the picture and not some other man.

With regards to giving, I don’t know. But she sure is right about needing a lot of forgiving.

I can’t believe it has already been a year but I will be the luckiest man on Earth if the rest of my years can be just as enjoyable.
