Joe was one of my profs in lib school and he was funny pretty much every day. His office was darned scary though–made me rethink the whole idea of “print is dead”!

His comment about “I was here” took my breath away. Absolutely that’s what’s happening for many, many of us — we’re just reaching out to the world, saying, “I was here.” The difference is that in our social web environment, we’re also saying “be here with me.”
