It came with XP, but XP doesn't resize itself for a ten-inch screen. Ubuntu can, and so did within a few months of the netbook craze starting. Great stuff. Glad you took the plunge! We are running Windows 7 on the new machine and it is pretty slick. If we did not game though, I doubt we would ever buy Windows again. You can order laptops with Ubuntu now.
