It is hard to imagine 150, 000 people dying in just a day. I can more easily imagine the devastation of the land than I can the huge loss of life. The BBC World Service has the best pictures of the damage done by the tsunami that I have seen so far, in case anyone is interested. I guess that some news groups are having trouble coming up with new headlines, because I saw the most idiotic byline yesterday. It was something like, “Tsunami makes no distinction between tourists and locals.” Really. Wow. I never though of that. Idiot.
