Because there are no clear leaders of the DNC at the moment, it is an open debate about who will be picked to lead the Democrats in the next few years. I read this headline and was dismayed (It is a blurb and an audio clip from NPR). Why don’t we prove the GOP is right? Why not prove that ALL democrats are lefty crazies who are “out of touch” with mainstream America? (for the record, 48% of us did not vote for the GOP last November) How, might you ask, can we achieve this fun sounding political suicide? By choosing Howard Dean as the chair of the DNC. Please Lord, no.
