I remember staying up late to watch reruns of M.A.S.H. and then Star Trek on my first tv that I was allowed to have in my bedroom. During my formative years, I remember watching many things, but one of my favorites was Star Trek: the Next Generation. I know that the original Star Trek was not a shining example of exemplary tv, but it does make me smile to read Orson Scott Card bashing it a bit. I do not disagree with much of what he says about Star Trek, but he does win my heart with his homage to Buffy, Firefly, and my current tv love, Lost. (Original link from Bookslut)
