Friday, I went to see Shawn Pander, from whom I was not expecting much given his website. The show was at the Rhythm Room, a little hole in the wall joint on the north side of town. Shawn’s show consisted of him and a friend playing acoustic guitars and singing, my favorite kind of music! He played mostly original stuff, with some Beatles and such thrown in for fun, including the most hilarious and fun version of “I Wanna *&$% You Like An Animal” I have ever heard.
It was a great show with wonderful music. If Shawn comes to town again, I will be in the front row.
