The ALA TechSource Blog has a blurb about the Learning 2.0 project that ALA is going to undergo with 50 of their division leaders and members. I was lucky and flattered to be asked to work on Team LITA, along with Mary Taylor and Bonnie Postlewaite, as we come up with a plan for LITA to fully utilize Library/Web 2.0.
I know there has been a lot of talk about ALA around the Biblioblogosphere this week (and I have some thoughts of my own, later), but this is a move in the right direction.
Also take note that Michael Stephens has a conversation with Meredith Farkas on the ALA TechSource blog, the lovely librarian I am working with on the HigherEd BlogCon.
–Jane, fingers crossed, hoping for changes
