Warning: Shameless self promotion ahead

Wednesday, I came back from lunch to find a box on my desk. In the box were multiple copies of the following article:

Boule, Michelle. “Examining a Spanish nonfiction collection in a public library.” Library Collections, Acquisitions, and Technical Services 29 (2005): 403-411.

That is correct ladies and gentlemen. I now can claim whuffie for a peer reviewed article. Amazing. It is the product of my research class in graduate school (see, I learned something!). I used demographic data to examine the content of a Spanish collection and then compared it to the English collection by percentage and content. Riveting, yes?

–Jane, yay for me

That’s not shameless self-promotion. That’s pointing out something you’ve accomplished that’s available for others to see. Good for you.

And, oddly enough, I think the article could indeed be riveting.
